Wake up sleepyhead!

Georgie got into a lil scuffle with his sister and got a booboo on his head. He has been in good spirits though. I took him in to see Dr. Sharp and no stitches were needed... Thank goodness but I found out that he might have collapse trachea :-( We will know for sure by next week. I need to make an appt. to get it checked out. I hope Georgie is ok. He hates the doctors just like his mom!

Frick & Frack

The past couple of weeks has been so hectic I haven't had a chance to post. Nico and George are happy babies. Nico recently had another episode of peeing in the house but this time she decided to pee on her bed and lie in it. OYE VEY! What is wrong with her?! At the moment she no longer has a bed and now uses this lion blanket to sleep on.

I found Nico exactly 1 year ago today. She was wandering the streets on Coldwater and Saticoy. Anne and I pulled over to see if she had any tags to help her back home. Nico was so friendly - she freely jumped into our car... I instantly fell in love with her and luckily we got to keep her. She is the greatest gift to me from the universe. Seriously she is a walking stuff animal that shines light and love! I love her and love to squish her! Shes so fluffy and cute! :-) HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICO! We love you!

In the end china will take over and none of this would matter

I started school last Saturday. Hopefully I will finish this semester with more stuff for my future etsy shop! :-) The plus side of this class I am in downtown LA with my sister. So I am eager to try new food. YUM! Last week we were weak and couldn't resist stopping by Botegga Louie. Here are pretty macarons for Georgie... to look at! :-) The minus side is that I will no longer see Jen Ben :-( since she will be in Westchester going to school. No more crepes and psychics this year.

Next week we are having the house fumigated for termites. I didn't think it was a big deal until I realize all the crap I have to pack. And I have this weird attachment to my stuff so I feel that I might have to pack up my whole office. All my lil trinkets down to my reams of paper. Ok maybe not the paper but everything else - YES! So I am kind of stressed out. :-(

Mercury is back to normal and on its first day I dropped my phone and cracked the screen. This just proves that I am a clutz and can't always blame it on the planets. I need to sloooow down.

It was a short week but a short productive week. I am super excited that the lil bit of Mercury retrograde will be gone by the weekend. :-) I swear I was getting all mixed up with dates and info and not communicating right. I even tried shooting footage for my next imovie and thought I was recording but NOPE. I swear I missed the best footages of the pups playing together and howling. :( I am hoping to re-capture over the weekend. Georgie is camera shy so its super hard. I hope he cooperates. Other the that I am going to have a lazy weekend catching up on zzzzz's.

I'm Back!

I had couple of weeks of chaos and yes… I am blaming Mercury Retrograde. But I am back and the picture above is how I feel. I want to just snuggle with my pups and veg out even after the long weekend. I thought I had to go into hibernation after FYF Fest. But I am feeling better today. :-)

Silkscreening... FUN!

I just finished silkscreen 101 and was happy to learn the process from A-Z. It was cool to physically do everything from start to finish. We were taught that preparation is KEY and the goal is to have multiple (25-50) pulls that are consistent of:

Registration
Color
Paper Material

I did none. :-( I don't know why I did not think to do this but I ended up doing the opposite and used whatever material I can get my hands on. I would use one color for 1-2 pulls and then slap on another color on top. I would blindly place the screen to the substrate I was printing on and hoping it would be centered and pretty.

Actually this week is flying by but for some reason I thought it was Friday. So maybe its not going as fast as I thought... hmmm... I am having one of those weeks where I want to punch people on their noses. But I am practicing my patience and doing my breathing exercises. 1-2-3...

* It is Friday now and I thought focusing on Happy thoughts would be better but I rather be thinking about punching some people on the nose. It makes me feel better.
